One singular sensation (no "a.") every little step she takes,
One thrilling combination every move that she makes.

(I used to know that dance, too, but it's gone in the mists of time.)

And you can't edit polls, so the error will persist. Oh well. It's far from the worst mondegreen out there.

One, two, three, reasons to be cheerful. (Ian Dury and the Blockheads)

WPLJ New York, back when they were an album-oriented rock station, used to have a tape spliced together of the leaders of various musical groups shouting or saying "ONE!" The clips were taken from the lead-ins to various classic-rock songs where someone would count off "ONE TWO THREE FOUR". I'm not sure but I think it was their way of claiming that they were the "Number One" AOR station in the NYC market.

("Album-oriented rock" was the old name for the radio format that has become known today as "classic rock".)

It's from Alfred Bester's The Demolished Man. In a psionic society, how can you keep the espers from finding out something you don't want them to know? Keep mentally repeating an earworm!

More details at the eponymous blog.

There's only
One thing
To do,
Three words
For you
I love you
There's only
One way
To say
Those three words
And that's what I'll do
I love you

There are multiple songs for which "I like the Aimee Mann cover best" is a true statement. "One" is among them; both her live cover of Coldplay's "The Scientist" and the cover of "Two Of Us" she did with her husband (Michael Penn) are also in this category.
